These days, Jesse and his college-bound friends refer to things that used to be “cool” (my generation) and “groovy” (my mom’s generation) as “sick” and “fire.”
Apparently the lunch I took the boys out for on Friday was “super fire.”
The Lowbrow’s grilled cheese with swiss + cheddar, bacon, fries, and extra dill pickles is one of Jesse’s favorite meals in the TC. We’re still ticking off the boxes on a list of things to do before he leaves for Canada, but we’re clearly starting to run low on time. Savoring every day…and eating out a little more than usual. xo
